About Professor Trudi Edginton
Professor Trudi Edginton is a Clinical Psychologist, EMDR therapist and Mindfulness practitioner with clinical and research expertise in Cognitive Neuroscience and psychological interventions. She is a Professor in Clinical Psychology, the former Head of the Psychology Department and Co-founder of the Centre of Excellence in Mindfulness Research at City, St George’s, University of London.
Trudi has worked as a Neuropsychologist in multidisciplinary NHS clinics supporting people with Traumatic Brain Injury, Dementia, hydrocephalus and spina bifida. She currently works clinically with individuals with neurodivergent profiles, anxiety, stress and trauma.
Her current research explores mental health and wellbeing across the lifespan, with a focus on inclusivity, advocacy and compassion. As an AXS Advisory Board Member, Trudi brings clinical, research and neuropsychological expertise to the development of accessible and compassionate inclusion infrastructure.
