Ali Aslam

Ali Aslam is a Deputy Director and ILM Level 7 qualified Executive Coach with more than two decades of public sector experience spanning Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, workforce development and continuous improvement. He brings together an understanding of the policy architecture of inclusion, including frameworks, standards and regulatory duties, with the operational reality of making them work on the ground.

Having begun his career in the provider environment, Ali has developed strong expertise in partnering with healthcare leaders and multidisciplinary teams to transform services and improve outcomes. His approach centres on developing people and building inclusive, collaborative cultures across patient experience, clinical outcomes and staff wellbeing.

Ali has worked with frontline teams, senior leadership groups and national and international experts to deliver sustainable change. His experience is grounded in operational service delivery, building high-performing teams and leading them through large-scale change. He was part of the senior leadership team that delivered a major public-sector reconfiguration in western Europe, merging three arms-length bodies and reducing operating spend by £500 million for reinvestment in frontline services.

Alongside practical delivery experience, Ali holds accreditations in executive coaching and mentorship, organisational development and action-learning-set facilitation. As an AXS Advisory Board Member, he brings a people-centred, systems-aware perspective to inclusion infrastructure, organisational change and leadership development.
